YAKIMA — For sale, price reduced. They’re signs seen on many lawns in Central Washington, and signs that will likely sit there a while as the housing market slump drags on. But, one company thinks it may have a solution.
“It’s always in show to sell condition,” says owner of Vacant Home Caretakers, Suzanne Carnevali. “Anytime a realtor wants to show a home, you just call the caretaker and tell them your coming by.”
Vacant Home Caretakers is a company that’s meant to be the middle man between a homeowner trying to sell, and a family looking for a bargain.
“It’s a win-win for everyone involved,” says Carnevali. “The homeowner knows that someone is here taking care of and staging the home.” (Read more on solution for houses that won’t sell)
