April Wine Tasting
April 13 – 15 Lemonscato from the Liuzzi family who brought us the wildly popular Mamamango. This is a beautifully balanced, gently sparkling blend of Moscato d’Asti and lemon juice from the famed orchards of Calabria – the “toe” of Italy’s boot. A perfect wine to serve for Easter brunch.
Guardian Cellars, Newsprint, Cabernet Sauvignon A bright blueberry nose is joined by concentrated, dense black cherry on the palate. The flavors are complemented with baking and pumpkin pie spice. This Cab is very full-bodied, yet has super soft tannins.
April 20 – 23 Just in case taxes sucked the life out of your checking account, we’ll be tasting some affordable and delicious boxed wine from Powers Wines.
April 27 – 30(THIS WEEK) Vino La Monarcha, 2016 Pinot Noir Rosé and 2014 Sangiovese. This is a label from Palencia Wine Company and it has been receiving great ratings. Is it because of the huge, bright butterflies on the bottles? You be the judge.
