Cle Elum blanks Highland 56-0

Central Washington UniversityThe Cle Elum-Roslyn High School football team scored the first four times it touched the ball en route to a 56-0 win over Highland Friday night.

“It was a good night for us,” said Warriors head coach Tony Kretschman.

Cle Elum scored on the first offensive play of the game via a pass. It then intercepted Highland and returned it for a touchdown. When the Warriors got the ball back they immediately scored on a pass play, and then followed that with a running touchdown the next time they touched the ball.

Jake Gall led the ground attack with 96 yards on five carries and two touchdowns. Michael Newman added 72 yards on four carries and two touchdowns.

Tyler Kretschman was extremely efficient at quarterback hitting 5 of 6 passes for 143 yards and three touchdowns. ( Read more Cle Elum-Roslyn High School Football)
